On July 1, 2006, Fourtitude.com had a chance to take a spin around Lime Rock park in the new Audi RS 4, piloted by none other than Audi factory driver Allan McNish. Hours later, McNish and Dindo Capello would go on to win Lime Rock, a fitting swan song for the Audi R8 that was headed into retirement. Ride along inside the car as McNish first talks about the new R10, compares it to the R8, his own S and RS car ownership, and finally describes the Lime Rock track as he performs a hot lap in Audi's newest performance car. PLEASE READ: This is by far the longest run video that I've ever uploaded. The first segment is a variety of racing related footage. The second part is the Lauren Mitchell Band live in the Green Park, playing on-board the legendary La Bomba Audi TDI race car float. The sound quality of the band is compromised because my video camera microphone did not enable me to adjust mic. levels suitable for recording live music. The sound coming off the stage was actually very clean and bright. The layer of distortion is a result of the camera mic. being overloaded. The Lauren Mitchell Band was on fire, and the crowd was jazzed. Everyone had a great time. Please leave messages of encouragement to the band and they might just come back next year! The Audi R18 TDI race car has been described as a whispering giant as its turbo-diesel engine is incredibly silent, even as the car rushes past at more than 200 MPH. Valentino Rossi and Monster Energy put together a 3 car team and partnered up to shoot VR's exploits at the wheel of a WRC Fiesta for the 2011 edition of the Monza Rally Show. The MotoGP GOAT doesn't get a load of time to throw a rally car round with a co-driver barking out calls but let's face it, he's got a knack of being super fast on in any kind of race format. Over the course of the weekend, Valentino come a close second (in 2 race formats) to multiple WRC champ Seb Loeb and even beat the ace in the 2 stages he topped. La manifestazione si è conclusa con un bilancio positivo e con una buona affluenza di pubblico. Per quanto riguarda il resto della classifica, quarto è arrivato Perico e quinto Dani Sordo su Mini Countryman JCW, vincitore lo scorso anno. Le Mini non sono andate bene sul circuito di Monza e Longhi, uno dei favoriti, si è dovuto accontentare dell'ottavo posto. In mezzo Re Felice (Citroen C4 WRC) e la Ford Fiesta WRC pilotata da Roberto Brivio e navigata da Davide Brivio, il manager di Valentino Rossi. Trentunesima piazza per Uccio, l'amico di Valentino Rossi. Salucci invece dopo la buona prova di venerdì è arrivato a sette minuti dal leader. Buona prestazione per Guido Meda, voce del motomondiale di Sportmediaset, che su Abarth Grande Punto S2000 ha chiuso in 51esima posizione. Battuto di 13 secondi Andrea Dovizioso: 54esimo.
