NASCAR CTS and NW at O’Reilly Raceway Park

The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series and the NASCAR Nationwide Series have both travelled to O’Reilly Raceway Park this weekend for the “Power Stroke Diesel 200 presented by AAA Hoosier Insurance” and the “Kroger 200 benefiting Riley Hospital for Children”.

Both series’ will be close by other NASCAR action as well, as O’Reilly Raceway Park is located in Indianapolis, Indiana – just west of Indianapolis Motor Speedway, where the Sprint Cup Series is scheduled to race the Allstate 400 at The Brickyard this Sunday.

The Craftsman Truck Series race will occur first, and will be broadcast this Friday, July 25 at 7:30 p.m. on SPEED. The Nationwide Series event can be seen on ESPN the following day of Saturday, July 26 at 7:30 p.m.

DTM at Nurburgring

The Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters are currently at Nurburgring for this Sunday’s race. The race itself will be held at 17:35 local time, on Sunday, July 27. DTM qualifying will happen from 18:48 – 19:35 the Saturday before.

“The Ring” as it is known by enthusiasts, was originally built around the village and medieval castle of Nurburg, and has a current lap record of 1.24,442 minutes held by Gary Paffett, who completed the fastest lap in his Mercedes. This time has remained the fastest since 2005.

Also scheduled to compete during the events at Nurburgring this weekend are the Formula 3 Euro Series, the Porsche Carrera Cup, the Seat Leon Supercopa, and the ADAC Volkswagen Polo Cup.

NASCAR Sprint Cup Heads to Indianapolis

This weekend, the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series will head out to Indianapolis Motor Speedway located in Speedway, Indiana for the Allstate 400 at The Brickyard. Last year’s winner was Tony Stewart, who also won the race in 2005. Can he repeat this year? Or will he face troubles from the race’s past dominating drivers like Jeff Gordon, who has recorded the most wins for this race at four victories (1994, 1998, 2001 & 2004). Tune in and find out!

The race will be broadcast on ESPN at 1 p.m. EST on Sunday, July 27th.

You can catch the qualifying efforts to be held for the Allstate 400 at The Brickyard on ESPN2 starting Saturday at 10 a.m.
